Las Fallas

Las Fallas is the name of a festival in Valencia, Spain. The tradition for the festival is that people make these large floats throughout the year (called "Fallas"), and then burn them throughout the night at the same time.

The streets were filled with these strings of fireworks. All throughout the day they were being set off in different locations, and they were LOUD.

Fuses and fireworks were used to light them.

The streets were full of people. The festival lasted all day, and they didn't begin burning the fallas until 
1 AM




The flames were controlled by the fire department spraying the surrounding buildings
